This is Government Kannada Higher Primary School, Nagara, established in 1939. The school building is 86 years old and is in a completely dilapidated and unsafe condition for children.The roof slab concrete has fallen off and rusted iron rods are exposed. There is a risk of roof collapse at any time.The compound wall is fully broken and collapsed. Debris and bricks are lying in the courtyard.The school ground is muddy with no flooring. Water stagnates during rain.Students are forced to sit on the veranda floor for classes due to unsafe classrooms.An open drain in front of the school is a major safety risk for small children.The mid-day meal kitchen is broken and unusable.The main building paint is peeled off, pillars are damaged, and doors are old.
